Welcome to Kita Sternenwiese - your place for development and diversity!

In the heart of lively Prenzlauer Berg we welcome up to 24 children aged 1 to 6 years. Our nursery is open from Monday to Friday from 8.00 to 17.00 hours. A dedicated team of 5 educators and a housekeeper accompany the children through their first important years of life. With language skills in English, Spanish, Russian, Arabic, Chinese and Cantonese, we can cater to the individual needs of each child. At the same time, we place great emphasis on the development of the German language through special games, songs, books and daily conversations.

Our pedagogical work: 

We work according to the situational approach, which picks up the children in their environment and helps them to understand it. We encourage not only their linguistic development, but also their social interaction and integration. Every child is unique and we want to support them in their individuality.

Healthy food - a matter of course for us!

A healthy and varied diet is an important part of our concept. Our caterer provides fresh, tasty meals every day, tailored to the children's needs. We use seasonal and mostly organic produce. Breakfast, lunch, snacks, fresh fruit and vegetables and drinks are all included in the monthly fee of €80.65.
