VfBB Pankow e.V. informs you about the type, scope and purpose of the data that we collect, use and process. The privacy policy also explains what rights you have.

We comply with data protection regulations and respect your rights. As new technologies and the constant further development of this website may result in changes to this data protection declaration, we recommend that you read the data protection declaration again at regular intervals.

Access data
We, the VfBB Pankow e.V., collect data on access to the website on the basis of our legitimate interest (see Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f. GDPR) and store these as ‘server log files’ on the website server. The following data is logged:
- Visited website
- Time at the time of access
- Amount of data sent in bytes
- Source/reference from which you reached the page
- Browser used
- Operating system used
- IP address used
The server log files are stored for a maximum of 7 days and then deleted. The data is stored for security reasons, e.g. to be able to clarify cases of misuse. If data has to be cancelled for reasons of proof, it is excluded from deletion until the incident has been finally clarified.
It is generally possible to use our website without providing personal data. However, if you fill out a contact form, send us an e-mail or fill out and send the online form for pre-registration for a childcare place, this is expressly voluntary. The personal information will only be used to process the respective request. The data will not be passed on to third parties without your express consent.
Special note: Data transmission via the Internet
Data transmission via the Internet may be subject to security vulnerabilities. There is therefore no absolute protection. You can therefore also send us your data by other means, for example by post, telephone or fax.
Special note: Online form for pre-registration for a KiTa place
With the online form for pre-registration for a KiTa place, we offer you the opportunity to be placed on the waiting list for a KiTa place at VfBB Pankow e.V. in a simple way. Personal data is requested in this form. This data is used and stored for the purpose of processing the enquiry as part of the place allocation procedure. Once the allocation procedure has been completed, the data on the waiting list will be deleted.
Special note: Newsletter subscription
The VfBB Pankow e.V. offers you a newsletter in which it informs you about current events and offers of the KiTa association. The newsletter does not contain any advertising and you will not be asked to buy anything. If you would like to subscribe to the newsletter, you must enter your name and a valid e-mail address. By subscribing to the newsletter, you agree to receive the newsletter and to the procedures explained.
The newsletter is sent by the dispatch service provider rapidmail, a dispatch platform of the provider rapidmail GmbH, Augustinerplatz 2, 79098 Freiburg i.Br., Germany. Information on the data protection provisions of the dispatch service provider can be found at: www.rapidmail.de/datenschutzbestimmungen.
Cancellation and termination: You can revoke your consent to receive the newsletter at any time and thus cancel your newsletter subscription. After your cancellation, your personal data will be deleted. Your consent to receive the newsletter will expire at the same time. You will find the cancellation link at the end of each newsletter.
Special note: Dealing with comments and contributions on the intranet
VfBB Pankow e.V. provides its employees with password-protected intranet access. Contributions or comments can be left here. The IP address of the user is stored. This is done on the basis of our legitimate interests within the meaning of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f. GDPR and serves the security of us as the website operator: Because if the comment violates applicable law, we can be prosecuted for it, which is why we have an interest in the identity of the comment or contribution author.
Google Analytics
Due to our legitimate interests in optimising and analysing our online offer within the meaning of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f. GDPR, this website uses the ‘Google Analytics’ service offered by Google Inc. IP anonymisation is used on this website. The IP address of users is truncated within the member states of the EU and the European Economic Area and in other signatory states to the Agreement. Only in individual cases is the IP address initially transmitted in full to a Google server in the USA and truncated there. This truncation eliminates the personal reference of your IP address. The user's IP address transmitted by the browser is not combined with other data stored by Google.
As part of the contract data agreement that we as the website operator have concluded with Google Inc., Google uses the information collected to analyse website usage and website activity and provides services related to Internet usage.
The data collected by Google on our behalf is used to analyse the use of our online offering by individual users, e.g. to compile reports on website activity in order to improve our online offering.

Rights of the user
As a user, you have the right to request information free of charge about what personal data has been stored about you. You also have the right to have incorrect data corrected and to have the processing of your personal data restricted or deleted. If applicable, you can also assert your right to data portability. If you believe that your data has been processed unlawfully, you can lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority.
Deletion of data
Unless your request conflicts with a legal obligation to retain data (e.g. data retention), you have the right to have your data erased. Data stored by us will be deleted if it is no longer required for its intended purpose and there are no statutory retention periods. If deletion cannot be carried out because the data is required for authorised legal purposes, data processing will be restricted.
